Anyone have a trick to keeping the marker lights in the fenders on a dually. I've replaced the clips that hold them in, and they are already loose, and won't stay in. Drivers side is worse.
Really looks bad when you pull up in a new 05 pickup, and your marker lights are hanging out. (please, no duct tape replies......)

Seems something else might be the issue. I have a 2000 DRW and the marker lights are still in there and tight as day 1. Inspect the body opening for the lights and see if there is cracks or flaking or anything unusual. You could clean the opening surface very well and then try a little bit of silicone or other from the inside. Seems you should not be having this issue on a 05. I would be pissed if it was mine and having the dealer fix it.

The first time, I was still under the 36k warranty. They replaced the metal clips that hold them in.

Since then, they could care less. I've messed with it some, and put some glue on the plastic side to have a bigger catch to push through the metal clip, so far, since then only the front drivers side keeps coming loose.

I can't see anything different between each light, and I hope my bed isn't flexing that much to pop the lights out!!
