wiper motor replacement

Does the cowling need to be removed to rplace wiper motor on my 93 bronce? thanks

Nope. The motor is on the firewall below the cowl almost dead center of the truck. It involves a couple of bolts a C-clip and the wiring harness. Depending upon when Ford changed it, you may end up having to splice in a new connector for the motor. However if you do, it will come with the new motor.

wiper motor

I was looking at the motor earlier and figured that I would have to lift up the cowling to get at some sort of clip that was connecting it to the wiper arm assy. Can you pull it out far enough to get at the clip then after removing the mounting bolts?

I was ablt to on my 92. Haven't had to do it to the 93 but I seriously doubt that changed.
