When they do a side impact they strap the vehicle to a huge rotisserie. They then rotate it 90 degrees at a time for a specific amount of time to see if any Stoddard comes out of the fuel tank. Boring test but a good one. We once had one catch on fire while on the rotisserie, not that wasn't so boring, more like scary. I wonder what nissan plans on doing to fix this?
I'm not a fan of Nissans, especially the styling (except for the Xterra) but that little truck would look pretty sharp if they would take those gaudy chrome diagonal bars out of the grille.
