Door Adjar Symbol Staying On? (Anoying)
Has anyone else had this problem?
Randomly when I get in my truck the door adjar symbol stays on while I am driving and then other times it goes off normally like it should, then tonight when i got out of my truck my interior light wouldnt go off. I started it up drove down the road and it still stayed on along with the door adjar symbol so I tried disconnecting my battery, but when i hooked it back up it came back on and then when i put the key in the ignition and turned it forward i finally went off.
What the #@%$
Any ideas?

If that is the door you are having problems with. Mine was the drivers door that was causing the problem. I just stuck the plastic straw in an sprayed down inside the latch. Have you window rolled up to prevent spraying the glass. I would spray both latches.

I'd call this problem the #1 problem on the Superduty - more than the 7.3's CPS, since it can happen to ANY Superduty. It's almost like it should be a Must-Read before registering on a forum, or at least the top Sticky. It's amazing how many times the question comes up still and is solved by the WD-40. Just when you think there's no way any Superduty could still have the problem, because you think Everyone has heard of the fix by now, a new fella joins and has the problem... and becomes a well-informed expert on the problem... and then goes on to answer the same question multiple times in the future.

We've got that Common Mods thread that's stickied at the top.... maybe folks can list some common problems and their fixes, briefly, as well.
A separate thread wouldn't hurt, either.
But I swear if EVERYONE who joined was made to or strongly suggested to read about the CPS and door ajar/dome light problem and their fixes before joining.... it'd cut down on SO many posts. However... maybe that's not necessarily a good thing. Like you mentioned about yourself, I'm sure there are others who came around looking for what we see as a simple/common problem, and ended up becoming full-participating members and great contributors.
Look at me I'm thinking out loud.
