Mystik vs Motorcraft SD

Recently traded my 03 6.0 PSD for an 06 6.0 and will be doing the first oil change soon- Interested to hear input on Motorcraft Super Duty 15w40 vs Mystik JT-8 15w40. Both are CI-4+ rated. Is it a toss-up between the two or does one have an advantage?

Thanks for any comments

Are you sure that Mystic is spec'ed for the 6.0L? I don't think that it is...

I run the Mystik in a Kubota tractor, as well as numerous gasoline powered vehicles. It works good and returns good UOA's. Never ran the motorcraft so I cant help there.

I say go with the Mystik. It is really a good oil IMO.

the oil just needs to meet the CI-4 rating and you will be fine.
