Running Boards... and a Camper Top?

Running Boards... and a Camper Top?
I was thinking of putting on a couple of "running boards" (if that's what they are called) on my Ford F250 Extended Cab.
I don't really need 'em (I'm tall) but it is a bit of a challenge for the "vertically challenged" to step up in the cab.
Any ideas or suggestions?
I'm also flirting with the idea of a Camper Top. I'd lose the great visibility, but it would look a bit better to cover the (rarely used) pickup bed... and I could use it as a camper once the weather commits to Spring.
Thanx

I bought my running boards from
SUMMMIT RACING you can see them in my picture gallery if you are interested.
www.summitracing.com
The brand I bought are "OWENS" made in america and they are diamond plate
I have a crew cab dually and they cost me 288.00 including shipping.
I got the cab and dually boards as a pkg.Your price would be cheaper since you will not need the dually boards.
I had "DEEZEE" but I took them off because the clear coat protectant that came on those diamond plate boards were peeling off and looked aweful after just 1 year.
Anyway these "owens" boards are not coated and they still look good and the boards withstand the weight of my 280'ish pound friends weight while stepping up into the cab without flexing or bending..
Good hunting...

Hey Cool Leeer!
It does look a bit like a hearse. But my truck (also black) looks like a convertible hearse. And I kinda like how the little ol' ladies run away from it.
Does it come off? Or are you married to it? If you can pop it off, is it tuff?
Also, is it higher than the fully extended antenna? I can barely roll into the parking garage, wisking the antenna, so I may have to get a new job???
Also, thanx for the info on the running boards. I think they are a no-brainer need to make my truck short-people compatible.
Can't help it, but I luv this truck!
