Center console

I just bought some bucket seats off eBay for my 97 F150 to replace the 60/40 bench. I also picked up a stock center console. Now, I'm wondering how the console attaches to the floor. There are 4 bolt holes that I assume either attach to a bracket that attaches to the floor or they attach the console directly to the floor. It's hard to tell where there might be any mounting points in the floor since the carpet is in the way.

Here's a picture of the console (top & bottom)...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not the exact swap you are doing, but this should help you out as far as part numbers you'll need. Post some pics when you get done, I wann do the same to my 2000

I just did this to my 00 f150 maybe 3 weeks ago. My installation was a little easier because I replaced my carpet too. If you feel around on the center "hump" you will feel some rubber plugs. These plugs should be located where the right side of you console will sit. Just cut around the plugs with a razor and pull them out. The holes that your bench seat used closest to the driver's seat, will be the holes for the left side of your console. (I hope this makes sense)
