Home Brewed Octane booster, how much?
Alright just trying to figure out how much Toulene to mix up with 87octane to get a minimum of 94octane (i have the little issue of a higher cr motor and no good quality 94octane fuel close by, mud racing only), i've seen ranges of 10-30 percent and using a formula i found for octane calculations i found that 25ish% would hit the mark, but is the correct (assume 10 gallon tank)? Also will running this percentag3e do any damage to the motor as far as items such as the holley carb/aluninum intake etc?
