Hey fellas, this is my first post but ive been reading threads on here for a year or so but i just wanted to say thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread. I just recently got around to doing the CCV Delete mod and removed the foil from the intercooler inlet pipe. I didnt really know what to expect from the CCV Delete but after completeing it i was amazed at how much trash was coming out of the hose. The foil removal was pretty simple with some PB Blaster and the whistle is much more high pitched in the upper rpm range. Just ordered the wicked wheel yesterday and cant wait to instal that bad boy. But like i said, i really appreciate the effort everyone has put into this site, forum and thread. Thank you.

Kinda' "different", as most of us learn better with photos than written descriptions.

But, as always, YMMV....

This is a great thread to start my diesel knowledge journey with. Between the links provided and little use of Google I have learned so much today. My thanks go out to everyone who shared their knowledge here!

AWESOME thread guys! it's great to be able to go through this thread and make my list of things to do longer! I've just joined, and i will get my info up shortly.

I've got an 01 with 284K 1 owner miles, and i LOVE working on this truck!!

2 questions-
what is the benefit/reasons for the Hutch mod & CCV mod?

Thanks guys!

I find myself keep coming back to this thread. It seems the more I do the more things I find I want or should do. So it is nice to have thread like this to check the things that have been done and things yet to do.

All I can say is WOW. My head hurts now and my hands I'm sure will follow once I get my truck. I will be getting a 01 F250 2wd after in a few months. Now I have a log list of stuff to do.
