I've got some battery straps. Rubber straps with metal hooks on the end that will hook onto a battery and provide you a handle. Check your local golf cart/lawn mower repair shop. They've hooked onto every battery I've tried so far.
What is a Wastegate disable? How is it done and does it help a lot?
Thanks
The stock turbo is designed to build boost quickly for good resposnse and less lag. It has a wastegate to prevent over driving itself which it is capable of. The WG begins to bleed pressure as boost is made and bleeds more and more until defueling is met at about 23psi. Some folks pull the red line off the WG actuator diaghram and plug it onto one of the CAC tubes to get more throttle response.
A non-WG turbo is either that way by design or made that way as it is able to build more boost with less drive pressure. This is usually accomplished with a larger turbine housing and outlet, or a similar drop in unit with a ball bearing center section that can withstand the higher drive pressure.
Some say it is laggy but it has a lot more overall oomph, especially up top where the stocker is trying to self destruct itself.
