Could we have a sticky for common mods?

Window Track
JT,
Ford sells a "Window Track Lube" that you can put on the felt in the upper door. I have owned 6 fords in my short life, and every one starting with the passengers window, has gotten slow. I have tried wd40 on the felt, and it works ok for a little while, but it gets on the window. I also tried a teflon stick lube on the window, but the track lube from ford works great. 1 tube will probablly last you a life time.

DIY Tymar aka "kwik filter" aka 6637
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...s-h-u-g-e.html
Part number (4)6637 from http://www.fleetfilter.com
The filterminder can be reused if you fab something up, but not necessary.
The IAT sensor (intake air temp) that was in the stock air box must be reused, and can be simply zip-tied to some brake lines nearby the filter so that it can still get a reading of intake air temps.

1st off...awesome, awesome, awesome!!!! Thank you all for the shoulders to stand on.
Back to the original request…”maybe a list of things that are common upgrades to this engine. Simple to complex, cheap to expensive, benefit vs. cost”<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Obviously you guys have NAILED #1) list of things that are common upgrades. I would love if the group could take this a step further and come to a mutual understanding (never use the word agreement) of the rest of the question. I, as a demanding newbee, was hoping for something with the following data fields in a very pretty database format where you could list them by cost or by when you should do them…ahhhh a man can dream!
Task: Wicked Wheel
Your Ability: Shade Tree
Cost Est: $100 - $200
Benefits: increases air flow, anticipate 5-10% more HP below 1,000 RPM
When: 1st year mod
Recommend combine with: Tymar aka "kwik filter" aka 6637, 4-5" exhaust
Link: https://www.ford-trucks.com/article/...stallation.html
Task: CPS R&R
Your Ability: Novice
Cost Est: $0-$100
Benefits: You will be stranded on the side of the road if you don’t.
When: ASAP
Recommend Combine with: N/A
Link: http://guzzle.rbmicro.com/cps.html
Task: Break Flush
Your Ability: Novice
Cost Est: $0-$100
Benefits: Regular Maintenance
When: 75,000 Miles
Recommend Combine with: N/A
Link: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...with-pics.html
Obviously, some of the information above was made up for example sake.
It's always easier being the idea man...;o)
Thanks,
Dan
