Well, I need a new gas tank. The cost to replace tank, straps, sending unit & labor is about $650. Meanwhile, Ford wants $742 for the tank ALONE!
Hopefully I'll have the truck back today - I've already missed 2 days work. I really, REALLY can't afford this!
Then I have to pass inspection by the end of the month. I need the muffler welded back on, pitman arm, EGR/check engine & who knows what else!
I can't complain because the truck has 127,000+ miles on him but man, I am not even sure where I'll get my rent $ since I've taken so much time off to care for my Mom & have been using Family Medical leave!
Not to sound too stupid, please pray for me! I need a financial miracle & FAST! If this doesn't give me a nervous breaakdown, I don't know what would. My Mom is going to let me put this repair on her charge - THANK GOD!
Thanks for letting me cry on your collective shoulders. I am really being stressed & tested beyond my breaking point.
