This is a nice touch Jim...a little welcome message for new members. Maybe condense it into a single "members list" thread and add folks as they join?
Victor. Your problem is the fuel pick-up tube in the tank. There is a small secondary intake valve in the side of the tube that has fallen out. Every time the fuel level gets below that now open valve the truck takes a big slug of air and dies. The parts to fix it properly will run about $35-40...not counting labor to remove and install the tank if neccessary.
I really appreciate the answer that what i was thinking of or maybe the pump on the fram.just filled it this morning and changed the fuel filter.have to wait till i run out. this is great thing you are doing. bought this truck new and had few things that i wounder about but the dealers were'nt so helpfull thanks. vic
