Im Looking for anybody in IA or northern MO that may be brewing your own fuel to talk with about it and glean any advice and info. The bio kit dealer in Sully is having a seminar on the 8th of next month pretty much put that on my calander but Im looking for anyone around that may be already doing it . And did you buy a pre fab unit or did you go from scratch???

Don't know of anyone actually doing it, but they are around. Check out the alternative fuels forum, and there is now a biodiesle forum right under the prepowerstroke forum for others that are doing it. I would love to learn more, but my main problem at this point is getting the veggie oil to use, not a lot available around here, plenty of different people and businesses with the same idea...

I have brewed some small batches and will have my processor setup by the end of the month to brew larger 30 gallon batches. No I didn't buy the kits but did look at this site to get the idea how to do it. http://www.biodieselcommunity.org/appleseedprocessor/
