Smile Vortech on my F-150

Had a Vortech V-2 SQ installed on my F-150 5.4L. This truck kicks butt now. It developes 5 to 9 LBS boost between 3000 and 5500 RPM. With the Gibson headers and cat back system this 260HP 5.4L is closer to 400HP. The Vortech is supper quiet, in the cab you can barely hear it. Outside with the hood open you can hear a slight wine but above 1200 RPM you can't hear a thing. Fairway Ford in Plcentia Ca. did a good job with the install.

I don't think you can gauge correctly because, while under boost, the motor will require more fuel. I find it hard to tell myself simply because I can't keep my foot out of the throttle.

Like Blurry I find it hard to judge for the same reasons, but I lost about .5-1mpg it I drove in the same manner.
In some situations I actually gained fuel milage (when I was towing a light trailer) - never understood that one either...

Fuel mileage dropped about 1MPG around town and on the FWY it's about the same. This also depends on how you drive. I find it hard to keep my foot off the throttle...
