ZF5 A.K.A ZF S542 rated at 425 ft lbs torque
ZF5 A.K.A ZF S547 rated at 470 ft lbs torque
ZF6 A.K.A ZF S650 rated at 520 ft lbs torque
I think the horse power would be determined buy what was powering it and the gear ratio of the transmission. There were several gear ratio setups for each. And would be hard for me to calculate all the options each engine vs. differnt gear ratios installed into the trannies. Hope the rest helps

S542 and S547 visualy appear the same and had alot of ratios which makes it is easy to get the wrong parts. S542 was put behind 300, 302, 351, 460, and the diesel engines. S547 was also used behind the same engines from 95 and up. And 87 through 94 the super duty model had a parking brake mounted to the tail of the housing.

The F450/Super Duty transmissions with the mounted parking brake are 4x4 versions. The brake bolts up exactly the same as a t-case FWIW

also i have an E4OD 4x4 that fits a 7.3 are these in high demand? i am looking to get rid of it to swap out with a 5 speed (i just dont like automatics...this truck just happened to have one. it is a 94 f350 srw 4x4 std cab long bed). It runs and shifts perfectly, has new filter and fluid too. i called around and here in terre haute they are going for the same price as a manual - about $1k for high mileage (like 200k+), and up to $1800 for low mileage (like 50k). mine was rebuilt by Ford not too long ago (previous owner) trans has certifed ford sticker on it. i would like to move it for around $1,000. prev owner thinks it has 50k-80k on it, somewhere in there. i could maybe even throw in the computers if i knew where they were/how many...they will be no use to me w/ a 5speed
