Repair Truck

I bought a salvage yard 6.9 motor and installed it Thanksgiving day.
I used the IP and turbo off the reman engine that went bad.
The IP started to go bad Thursday on the way to Morgantown.
I just got back from Huntington where I bought a replacement IP.
Now tomorrow I get to install the IP and then the only thing left of the reman engine will be the turbo.
I guess it will be dead soon.
Do not ever buy anything from Reviva, they reman junk.
So you get remanufactured junk, which is still just junk.

I use DK in every tank. I just think that it was jsut the fuel. I put fuel in it last night and the slight miss has came back. It is not like before, so I am putting my finger on the fuel. The miss is not contant. It seems to be occurring in all cylinders due to watching it shake. There is no stumble, but the power loss is now back. Seems like my pony has a slight limp. They are supposed to change the fuel next week. I sure hope so!

Since it is snowing here I wonder about the change to summer fuel. I will be most interested in my MPG on summer fuel after the new IP.
If I were you I think I would be finding a new fuel stop.
I buy all mine at the local truck stop, really hate to buy it anywhere else.
Never had a fuel related issue with their fuel.

The problem started when I bought fuel on the turnpike. Then it started throwing a P0470 code that I cannot resolve.
A client is going to try to help me resolve it this weekend. We are going to change the turbo, innercooler and add a Big Hoss exhaust system to it. I am trying to price the gauges I will need f\to run this. Guess I will have to take it easy until they arrive.

At the moment, I am in Charleston. I live outside of Beckley. The guy that is helping me make the change is somehow connected with Banks as a distributor.
That P0470 code is a back pressure sensor.
After changing the innercooler and tubes and adding a chip, this weekend, I killed it. I don't know what went wrong. The truck has no power. I am going to check the innercooler this evening to see if it is cracked. I have removed the chip and disconnected the batteries (since last night). There is no codes. Hopefully, I will find something tonight.
