There are a lot of inquiries about VIN's. Hope this helps a few readers.
For 1973-1979 Fords the VIN plate is located on the rear face of the driver's door.

Example Vehicle Identification Number - F10AU100001

Truck Series Code (F10) AU100001

F10 = F100 - 2 Wheel Drive
F11 = F100 - 4 Wheel Drive
F14 = F150 - 4 Wheel Drive
F15 = F150 - 2 Wheel Drive
F25 = F250 - 2 Wheel Drive
F26 = F250 - 4 Wheel Drive

Look in the tech section for the on-line VIN decoder from FTE member Michael Masse. It decodes 1970-80 VIN nos.

What exactly do you need to know on the wiring?? I also would like to get a diagram of the wiring harness. I have a couple of 67's, and i have had trouble with the wiring but have learned a lot by trial and error, that's the best way sometimes.
