Shorter Lash adjusters? Valve hanging open

Is there a such thing as shorter Lash adjusters or rockers with a slightly smaller roller? I found out that my #2 intake valve is being held open when the rocker and lash adjuster are on. I did a leakdown with no rockers and it was 6% with rockers was 85%. I'm guessing the valve stretched? What do they do if a valve job is done? That'd move the valve up in the head and the lash adjusters have very little movement, I'd guess .025 to .030" Moving the valve up even .015" takes almost all the adjustment out because of the rocker ratio. Any Ideas? I do not want to take the head of just to install a new valve. My trucks sit for alot of the year (less than 5K miles) and this would be a total pain. I was thinking maybe having a machinist I know grind the bottom of the lash adjuster down. I think first though I am going to check the height of a new one to my old one and hope it's stuck up a little. Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of shorter lash adjusters or anything like that for this engine.
Chances are you have a valve seat that's sunk into the head or a tulipped valve.
It's quite a bit of work but if you removed a few more cam followers you could use a straight edge across the tops of the valves and see if your problem one is sticking out further than the rest.

my guess is bad valves. as stated above either sunken valves or tulipped valves.

I bought a new lifter and compared it to my old one... The old one compressed .020" and the new one compressed .045" from the same starting length. I'll have to see how it is when pumped up but i think it'll work. Plus the new lifter was spring loaded and the old one had nothing. Hope this works! Thanks everyone!
