Let's meet in the Rochester area!

I go to Webster every weekend to care for my Mom. I was thinking it would be nice to meet some fellow FTE'ers out that way. There's a sub shop/restaurant 2 blocks from my Mom's right on Rte 250 & 2 of the employees have F150's! That got me thinking it would be a nice place to meet & "start" our G2G's! The 1 owner said he'd consider letting us have a "cruise night" there. Granted, Webster isn't a HUGE place but we could go for a short cruise & end with something to eat back @ Guida's. I'd say a cruise nite will have to wait for warm weather but why not just meet there for pizza? It's easy to find this place - take the 104 to the Webster exit & then head North when you get off - it would be on your right. There's lots of parking & they serve the HUGEST slice of pizza I have ever seen! EVER!!! Now, I do have to stay home & work the 4th weekend of every month so that's the only weekend I am in Buffalo. Other than that, I'm open to a G2G anytime. I'm always there Thurs/Fri thru Sun nites. Let's try this ok? How about meeting @ Guida's on Sat, 4/1 around 8PM? Feel free to email me & I can give you my #'s here in Buffalo & @ my Mom's. I'd sure like to get this Chapter moving - please help me ok?

Ang - I think it is a great idea. I have one request. Can we start sooner? It is an hour and a half drive for me so if we start at 8 I am sure we will be there for at least a couple of hours which puts me back home at midnight. Maybe do the meeting at 6 and we can meet and eat?

i would be there but i have to work on sat and its a lil' far to drive it in 2.5 hours( or at least the police say so, not the bronco) after i get off at 3:30.

I'd really like to come but that's also number one son's birthday. (#14 - two more years and he'll be driving....LOL!) Got to check with the commander in chief and see when we're celebrating it!

I hope your son has an awesome day & may more! To you & your wife, I wish you an unending supply of patience! And tranquilizers! My niece just got her license. Everytime I see her pull up in my Mom's driveway I do a double take! She's a great driver but she's SO young! I didn't get my license till the ripe old age of 18 & looking back, I realize I was TOO YOUNG! LOL! That's okay - I've been driving 34 yrs now & I am proud to say I have finally mastered my 3 point turns! Next on my list - parallel parking! ROFL!
Well, if you want, email me & I can give you my local # out there. We can make it pretty much any weekend except for the 4th weekend every month when I have to stay in Buffalo.

John - Gald to have you in the NY Chapter!! Welcome!! I, like you, have other plans for this weekend. My sister is coming in from CA and I don't get to see her much so we will be visiting. Hopefully we can meet up at the next G2G.
