Ok, I have heard of a couple of good places like Obetz By columbus airport, and McArthur down by old mans cave. My girl used to go mudin with her dad here but she hasn't been there in years and doesn't know if they are still open.

Kurt... I wheel the stuff near mcarthur all the time.

check out my site

www.offroadohio.com

We ride all over ohio all the time. If you are the Kurt I'm thinking, you are like 15 minutes from some killer riding. Nothin legal aside from small private land around this area but I know most all of the private land and I can show you.

Here is an example of some of the stuff we do
This is local land in Perry County (about 12 miles west of Zanesville)

Mud spots

There is a spot near Trenton Ohio called the beanhole. It's just a farmers field with holes ranging from 1-4 feet deep

Not to encourage guys to leave the Buckeye State, but....

Hatfield McCoy is about to open the Ivy Trail System just south of Charleston. We go down there fourwheeling all the time. But the Ivy Trail will be open to 4x4 trucks, jeeps, hummers, etc!!

I know it's a haul - trust me hauling the quads down there is an excursion sometimes!!

And, of course, there is Yankee Lake!!

So Im right on the PA/OH border, like 20 minutes from yankee lake. Observe, never participate. Does anyone in here go there?

I live about 20 minutes on the other side of Yankee from you. I used to go there almost religiously, but I guess I got burned out of it. It seems like the female crowd's average age is about 14, and to be honest, it just seems like a trashy place to be anymore. Their favorite saying for that place is "getting skanky down at Yankee." Maybe I'm just getting old (a whopping 19 years old)

I hear ya there (but 27 years old). Sometimes it's nice to go and feel better about myself haha. I like to go for some of the bigger events. I call it redneck-fest myself

That's exactly what it is: a redneck festival. I don't mind going a few times a year to watch tug-a-war, that's about it. I used to trailer a lil ranger out there, but the thing blew up two years ago.
