I would think it would be coming... in DesMoines we have a new Hy Vee grocery store being built and they have a convience store with E85 and diesel in addition to the regular flavors of gas.
I'm betting you don't want to drive to Iowa... but you know all the trends start in Iowa and then go to Kansas, the NW territory, etc LOL (ya, right!)
We have one station in Maize that sells e85 but that's the only one i have seen. Things are really starting to change on that front including more stations carrying a bio-diesel blend also.
I think Hays had a station selling e85 the last time I was out there. That has been a couple of months ago. I just saw a station in this area last week with e85, but can't remember which town it was in. It may have been Junction City or Salina.
One would think that a guy could get a custom burned, selectable chip that will allow him to run E-85 in a truck that was not originally equiped to do so. I would assume that if it was possible the aftermarket chip guys would be all over it.
Iowa is one of the largest producers of ethonal and so far there is only 27 pumps in the state for it (thats pumps not stations there is a difference) I don't understand that either why is it that the midwest produces 80% of the ethonal used in htis country but you cna't buy it here. go figure.
