Magnaflow XL?

Anyone have any idea on a rounded Magnaflow Xl? how it sounds? its 2-1/2 inlets and outlets and 27in long. Have a flowmast single baffle dumped off right before the rear axle and dont really care for how it sounds, its nice and loud, but not loud and good, and seen in here someone mention if you are gonna dump it like that run a long magnaflow and it will sound good. Right now it makes my sliding back glass vibrate..lol i could deal with it but just dont like the sound. so if this magnaflow wont sound good any recomendations will be taken in.. thanks for any info. Have tried glasspacks and didnt like them as well so glasspacks are ruled out...lol Thanks

Get a straight through Magnaflow and it should sound good, it will be a bit quiet being that long though, look for one with an 18" body and it should sound good. If you get one of the oval ones with the wider case, they come with a built in X pipe as well.

I just had a Magnaflow 4x8x18" 12256 2.5" SI/SO put on my 06 yesterday. It is pretty quiet, I was surprised. I might would opt for a 14" next time but was afraid it would be too loud yesterday without hearing one first. If you have been used to a 40 series Flowmaster you will want to get no longer than a 18" Magnaflow at most.
