Income tax refund......

It's income tax season. If you're gettin' some back are you going to do anything special with it?

I've picked out a few things I'm going to get for my truck.

I HOPE to get back around $1500-2000 (that's the usual). I haven't done my taxes yet. I plan on paying some big bills and maybe getting the stuff to change the transmission fluid on my FOCUS!

I'm going to buy myself a new digital SLR, probably a Nikon so I can take pictures of all the nice trucks I see. Among other things.

Luckily I went comparison shopping yesterday and discovered the items I want for $50 less at another store. As soon as my cheque comes in I'm ordering bug deflecter, side window ventvisors, tail light guards, haven't decided yet if it'll be 5 or 6 inch off-road lights in either 55 or 100w and a Westin Safari bar.

Somewhere down the road I'll be looking for a CAI and exhaust system to help my fuel economy.

I'll be getting about $2000 back and I plan on using it to pay off all the bills that I've incurred operating the new Freightliner

...

At least we'll get a nice fat GST rebate cheque ($9000) in the 2nd quarter which should help us get on our feet

Hopefully I get a good return. Last year I got $1000 for working only 8 months.

I'll need to just put it into savings, for I've spent a lot of money on my truck lately (and dwindled my savings down :P)

I'm going to use some of mine to get my camera fixed. I could have used it this weekend but I dropped it on Wednesday. I sent it in to get checked out before I decide if I'll get it fixed. I paid. $249 for it and if it's ridiculous to get it fixed I'll just get a new one.

Here's another question for you folks to ponder......
Why is it that any time you get what you think is extra money, something breaks, lay-offs happen, or the thing you want to buy the most is no longer on sale or is sold out, even bigger OR.....the best deals on trucks are all old news?

I've had that happen before. There's a chance that by the time I get the money the tail light guards won't be available. I've been told they've been discontinued and I'm hoping the store still has some in stock.

Wait a minute , I might be missing something here...

my lovely wife has been looking after all 53 paychecks that come in every year , maybe that explains why every spring she gets her hair done, her nails done, and has a weekend of shopping with the girls...
