I am a firefighter when I am at home. I also do landscaping during the summer. Here in Cookeville, I work at the Agriculture office, and hopefully next semester I can get on with the Cookeville Fire Dept.
I go to school and when i dont do that i frame houses with a local construction company that believes in Hiring real american citizens and not a bunch of mexicans, not intended to offend anyone here if they are of hispanic origin.
i work mon-fri at a parts warehouse for a brand that shall remain nameless, go in at 1pm and work 4-8 hours depending on how busy it is.
im on call weekends and sometimes nights for a dealership that i detail cars for, i use to be full time with them but the work just wasnt there.
ive also worked the last 5 summers with my buddy for his mowing bussiness, the two of use do mowing, hedge triming, odd jobs, gutter cleaning, brush hauling, junk hauling, and storm clean up.
and as many of us can testify to, atleast five times a year im "recruted" to help someone move or haul something, but theres always a few extra bucks to be made, at times it sucks being one of the few family members with a truck.
