Bench seats folding into bed, hauling motorcycles & Cargo Roof Racks
Anyone know of a good source for the bench seats that fold into a bed?
Anyone hauling motorcycles in the cargo area of an extended van? Did you do any special mods to get three full size dirt bikes in the van?
Also looking for a source for large cargo/safari roof rack preferably aluminum.
Thanks for any info........

Haven't tried to fit three full-size dirt bikes in my E-350, and keeping the first row of bench seats in I'm not sure it's easy or possible. If you took the first row out, I bet you could do two facing forward and one back, or vice versa. I have some of the $20 wheel chocks mounted to sheet metal stock drilled to mount to the seat bracket fittings, which is pretty slick and easy to swap in and out.
It would also be noticeably easier in a cargo van than a passenger van (which I have), as the space taken up by interior trim would let you get a much better angle on the tiedowns, and the space taken up by the rear climate control would give you more handlebar clearance.

awesome to know there are other off roader riders out there. there are a lot of van customizer companies out there that make bench seats that fold out in to beds. and even better, they match the floor mounts. I would try your search engine for van customizers or custom vans. I noticed a few last night while surfing.
although I pull a trailer with all our toys I did decide to yank the last two and sometimes three seats our of our 15pass e-350. using 2x8 I constructed a full size bed with storage. even then my daughters quad fits inside the van with 1 bench seat remaining. Anyways good luck on your search.
