hey all....

I thought you'd all appreciate the update with my situation. I ended up taking my truck down to an engine shop on the south side of S.A. and sure enough.... I had hydrolocked it and then when i started it up..... I not only bent the rod... I threw it... it went right through the oil pan and I'm now buying myself a new block....... this shop is going to replace with a re-manufactured block, replace water pump and all the installation kit needed... with labor... it's gonna run me $2100. Not too bad if you ask me...... just bummed out that it had to be done...

Hope it turns out OK. That's a huge job with lots of opportunities for things to go wrong.
