Question Fuse Box

I need information on placement of fuses for a 2000 Ford F-150 Pickup. I do not have the necessary books showing placement of fuses for the cigarette lighter. The truck has two plug-ins right next to each other. I've replaced one 20 amp fuse for the right side, but do not know where the other fuse goes for the left or what size.

I believe you can download an owner's manual from motorcraft.com, that should have the fuse box diagrams

The auxillary power socket to the left of the cigar lighter has a fuse under the hood in the battery junction box. It's fuse number 1 (25 amp).

The cigar lighter fuse is #3 (20 amp) in the central junction box.

Remember, fuses are located inside by the driver's left knee (central junction box) and under the hood on the driver's side (battery junction box.)

Grab (download) a copy of the owner's manual...then keep the computer in the glovebox.
