front/rear oil sump?

front/rear oil sump?

i have a 1978 f150 4x4 truck. i am looking for a motor. i find alot of front oil sum (car) motors. can one of these be installed with out oiling problems. if i change the oil pan and pick up tube/pump what do i do with the extra dip stick hole? do i need to change pans/pump at all? thanks

hi
i used to have a 1979 bronco that had a 351m and we changed it out for a 400 out of a car worked great u will have to use your pass side exht manifold for the truck driver side is the same car or truck
