Commonwealth games!!!

Well they officially start in 2 days time.
I am not going to the Opening Ceremony (tickets were $$$), but am going to the athletics, swimming (was hard to get tickets for), badminton, hockey (field hockey), and Rugby 7's

Will also go and watch the Marathon, Road cycling, mountain biking and Triathlon (which are all free)

Can't wait. Feels wierd having something so big just walking distance from where you live.

Is everyone else (from a Commonwealth nation) going to be watching it on TV?

That would be nice to have all those events so close to you. I have been a little disapointed with the coverage of the events here in Canada, they have hardly even mentioned any thing about them other than a few Canadians won some medals yesterday. I guess because it is not the Olympics it is not such a big deal.

Thats kind of dissapointing I suppose - saw the Canadians last night at the rugby - they were pretty impressive.
