Unhappy First spring with my truck, storm advice

Ok it's supposed to possibly strongly storm here tonight. I'm kinda worried about hail. I've never put this truck through a hailstorm (lucky for me) as I got it last summer. I'm not to worried about the hood, the replacement hood we bought is a lot more solid than the stock one.

On the other hand, my roof is very thin sheet metal. Right now I have a blanket laying on it. I've also got a 60x48 peice of 3/8 inch plywood I was thinking of laying on the roof to take the brunt of the impact, but I'm afraid the wind might pick it up and throw it either on my truck or on my dad's truck (which will be parked right next to it during storms).

How do you guys cover your trucks during storms? Advice appreciated. Thanks.

Unless it gets some pretty good size, it generally doesn't do any damage. If it gets big enough to make marks, the only way to protect it is in a shed....
