I have navigation in my 2002 Navigator. It sucks compared to systems in my other vehicles. I thought you should know that. It was made by Visteon/Philips. The display and computer were both replaced under warranty.

As far as I can tell, you will need the display unit, GPS antenna (located under the dash, not difficult to run), GPS computer/CD reader, and wiring. There is also integration to at least the brake, reverse, and vehicle speed sensor. If the 'Gators are prewired with harness hanging, retrofit should be easy. If not, then you might want to go with an aftermarket system.

I been asked this a few times, and after checking with Ford, I was being told that you could not do it, wiring looms, radio's and a host of other issue will not allow for it. Again this was Ford giving me this info. so?
