Well I have a 2002 f150 60/40 seat. The passenger side will not go back, into an upward position. Is there an easy fix to this. I have taken the mechanism that allows the seat to go up n down off. I can't really see what is wrong with it, is there somewhere where i can just replace this part. Ive been told that i have to replace the entire seat.

Hi and welcome to the forum

I assume it's a power seat you're talking about? If so, you can't get any parts for the seat track new from Ford other than the whole track assembly with the motors and cables etc.
It might be best to look for used parts at a salvage yard.
