I want to get up there in the next few weekends and get the bed sprayed in my truck. I would like to take a look around and for spare parts at least. I wonder how hard it would be to drop that 460 into my truck????

You'd need a 351m/400/460 bellhousing to be able to bolt it to your manual tranny (unless you wanted to swap over to the C6 from Thumper as well ) and possibly the motor mounts...since your truck is true 4X4 instead of a converted one like Thumper is, I'm not sure if the mounts that are on that engine now will bolt right up to your engine perches or not...

Nice C6 tranny for FE engines. came with a rebuilt 390 I purchaced. I was told the tranny was redone same time as engine >30,000. fluid looks great and torque converter looks new. would like to get $150 for it

Guys, I know it's not the correct for sale forum but I think you all are the right target audience. I'm willing to sell my 1981 Pathfinder Quadravan for 800 bucks. Almost no rust. Very straight body. 351w engine. Dana axles with 205 xfer case. Needs trans and carb work. Will have to be towed. I drove it home, but the torque converter slips badly. I have the pink slip which cost me almost 300 bucks to get in my name. Most of that was penalties.
