77F-150 AC looks different

We are getting ready to build My Sons 77 F-150 and I have not seen any other truck in that year with this AC configuration. (1) there is no box that extends out into the engine compartment, this I like. (2)It has a seperate control for the AC versus the AC control under the radio like My 73 and 76.(3)But it looks like a factory installed unit. Has anyone seen this type of unit before?Any help is appreciated as I need parts for it.

Your two pickups have factory a/c, your son's is a dealer installed unit. It was sold by Ford to be installed at the dealership to a non a/c truck. Most any parts store can get parts for them.

Thanks for the info Marty,I thought it was an oddball vehicle that came without either heat or AC,it just looked so much different than a stock HVAC system. The dealer AC must have a smaller evaporator unit than the factory unit as it is a much smaller unit, thanks again.
