...but don't know if it'll work. Looking for thoughts here folks. OK, here goes.
You find the closest board member willing to meet you and setup a meeting. Just a simple 10 minute thing, maybe at a coffee shop, bar, parts store, where ever. I'll even create a map connecting all the dot's and keep it up to date. It's be cool to see the state all colored in! I'm thinking it'd be fun, at least for most (except the poor sap that get to meet me). It may even help get the chapter moving again. If somebody has a digital camera to bring along, it'd be good to post some pics too!
Side note, I think the closest member to me is in PA. Probably doesn't count.
To start things off, I'm gonna get in touch with ozzy460, see if he's up for it. He's pretty close and I wanna see his chopped 79 (besides - Ozzy and 460's rule).
Ozzy460, if you're SURE it's OK that I invite myself up, send me a PM with directions and a phone number, and we'll figure out when would be good for you. Maybe sometime when you need an extra hand working on the '79. I'd like to see it. My son and I are doing a total frame up on a 1970 3/4 ton long bed.
Ozzy and Barr are you guys getting together or did this already happen?? We need pictures either way. There is a chapter gallery that is available to us that I will have to check into seeing how that works.
If anyone else is nearby a fellow FTE member do a G2G and take pics. We need to know when and where these are and maybe others can join in too. Just do them and post up!!!

Hey bterry, we are also doing a 70 F100, maybe we can have a g2g when I get back to Trumansburg. Almost got a 70 camper special last year (down here in VA) ended up in a junkyard, the guy won't part anything out just sell the whole thing. Need anything?? PM me. George

Hey GLR, check your PM's if you haven't. My brother keeps his boat in Ithaca and I try to make it up there a few times each summer. Should be going up there even more this year, as we're not going to be racing this year. At any rate if you make it back up to Trumansburg maybe we to meet in Ithaca some day.
I love this idea! Thanks for posting it bterry! Any G2G doesn't have to be a huge, statewide event. This would be a great way to begin getting to know each other.
