Aftermarket headlights

I have a 2000 f150 xlt extended cab 4x4 and I just got projection headlights from ebay. They were installed on saturday and I did a smalll amount of driving that night and they were working great. Today as I was leaving for work I realized that the left side high beams would no longer light up, only the right side. Is it possible that there is a wiring problem, or do you think it may just be a blown bulb?

Probably just a blown bulb. When you change it, make sure you don't touch the glass with your fingers.

It could be that the low beam filament is burned out, but I wouldn't swear to it. I don't know too much about lights.

I am surprised that the listing for the headlights did not specify what bulbs are used. It is probably an H-3, possibly an H-4. But if you take the non-working bulb to the store with you I'm certain they can match it up. It may have the number right on the base.

there should be a number on the bulb itself, sometimes they're hard to read.

I have the same set almost on my '99 Expy. It takes an "H-3" bulb. makes sure you stick with the 55 watt version as the 100 watt may be hazardous and burn up your wiring. Now, on yours, do you have 6 led lights at the bottom of each or just 3? From the pic it looks like it has the 3. If so, what is in the other holes? I have the ones with 6 led lights per headlight.
