Do to all the terrorism and trade secrets they no longer give tours. I called the plant last year asking the same thing.

Ya, they rolled up the red carpet on tours anymore.
Back in '00 when I ordered my new PSD I was going to get to watch it get built, but the plans kinda fell thru. My sister and her Ex. both work for Ford and I get some lucky chances sometimes.
I've been thru the Mich Truck plant, Mustang plant and now the Romeo engine plant. Got to see the Ford GT motors get put together. Sweet stuff! Even got a personalized engine tag made for ME! Just wish I could have the motor it sits on.
I was asking because of a meet we were having before the Ford Truck race at Kentucky Speedway.

On a local home builder show. They all have super duties. A week or so ago, they did a tour of the plant for the tv show. Very Cool. They showed every step in making our super duty beasts. Talked to the people who made them and the plant manager who explained every step and the who's and why's. Then at the end of the show, they did something that surprised me. Each and every super duty get a tour on the suspension track. Inclines, humps, bumps, and so on. Each truck goes through this before being shipped.
