Garage Addition

The Toys 'R Us at Towne West mall is going out of business and the were having some huge sale. Everything had to go, including the fixtures. I thought that this might be a good place to get some shelves for the garage, so in I went and purchased two 4 x 8 end-caps and two 4 x 5 end-caps for $200. Since they still had stuff on them, I had to wait for them to sell some of their junk. That was on the 5th. Today, on the way home from Duane's, I thought I should go in and check on them since I hadn't heard anything from them. Good thing I did too, the sign inside the door said only two days left. I found the manager and we went hunting for my shelves. Well, the 4 x 5 end-caps were nowhere to be found. The manager said he thought that someone must have pulled the tag that said they were mine (sure, whatever), and thought maybe I could take to of the bigger ones. Nope, they won't fit in the back part of my garage. While we were looking around for anything resembling a 5 ft tall end-cap or shelf section, I found something I thought would work even better. We went to the Sr. manager and she said that I could have this new item for the same price for my inconvenience. Below are pictures of the "new" item. It was heavy and there was bloodshed during disassembly but it was well worth it. Thanks again Duane for helping me move this beast.

So have you put it to work yet? Looks cool. Clint has a metal table with a vice over at the friends garage where Jr. is at. I guess it's still metal. So much stuff on/around it it's hard to be sure.

I threw a bunch of crap in a couple of the drawers trying to get things out of the way so I can get the Bronco back into the garage. I think I am gonna try and get it all straightened out this weekend and finally get something done with the B2.
