the block is cracked on my powerstroke and i bought a international diesel engine out of a commercial diesel for $600 ($600 is why i bought it) will the block work in mine...its not a indirect injection but a few things look different like the fuel bowl is (if your facing the top of the engine from the front) on the bottom left...the water pump looks different but bolt holes are the same...it has a cps...will it work?

the fuel bowls on our truck are put on by ford and so is the water pump. but yes in a nutshell same motor and will work fine. it may even have some "AC" code injectors in there which is a bonus they are the same as stage 1's.

 

I'd leave the 444 water pump on it since it already has a filter mount built into it.

 

there is a tag on it that says t-444 205hp as long as the block is the same im just going to swap the block only....the only thing the engine didnt come with is injectors

 

By block you mean short block, or literally just the block....as in tear the whole thing down and rebuild it with your parts?
