Do the ones with the correct guess get a new stroker kit as a prize?

My engine builder that I am using for my 434 kit is spectulating about 600 ft lb torque so I guess we'll see when I get to that point!

My simulation was for the BD build. Are the specs different for this motor?

How about 531 ft-lbs Torque@4000 RPM, and 481 Horsepower@5500 RPM.

Danlee,

I have ran a bunch of dyno sims on this engine set up on Dyno2000 software that a buddy has. Be sure to put in the open headers because that is how it will be dyno'd. When I tried this setup, though with a slightly differnet cam (smaller lift) We had over 500hp and over 600 torque. Also single plane intake, flow chart from CHI's website with valve sizes listed on the website and I think we used an (800 CMF(I think)) carb.

I can't wait to see the outcome of the real thing!!!!!!

The simulation with open headers and 800 CFM gives me 536 ft-lbs Torque, and peak HP is 498@5500.

What do you think Tim? I am the only one so far to vote for the 450-500hp.

Smile

I erred on the high side in my vote. What the heck..we can wish and hope Mr. Tim is going to pull a real rabbit out of that hat.

Yes Dan..this engine is certainly targeted toward a different goal than the BD project motor..as you have already figured out. Maybe we can build one like this one too..8-)
