Best way to clean chrome bumpers?
I picked up two near-perfect bumpers (F & R) to replace the peeling chrome one I have on the front, and the aluminum-looking (non-chrome) one on the rear.
They are straight and have perfect chrome on them but there's some surface rust that ran down from where the brackets are (they were sitting in the rain when I picked 'em up) and I'd like to get the finish nice and shiny. Is NevrDull the best thing to use or will that kill the finish? I know it works good on brass, never tried on chrome although I think the instructions on the can specifically state it can be used on chrome, it's been awhile since I had some...
Thanks!

3M Marine restorer/wax
One of my friends clued me into this stuff they sell. It's a marine restorer/wax they sell, made by 3m. It's basically a wax with rubbing compound in it. We used it on his ranger and it worked wonders. cleared the foggy light lenses, cleaned the aluminum coloured grill, and made the chrome on the bumper shine. Great stuff. Apply like wax and it easily removes small scratches, and leaves anything nice and shiny. Also I bought it at wal-mart in the sporting goods section.
