The door on my '93 F150 will not open from the inside. I understand the latch operates by a cable that runs from the handle and suspect that it has broken. I haven't had time to check it yet, but was wondering where to get a replacement cable if that is what is needed. Thanks.

I have that same problem an all 3 of my F-350's (1992-1996) It must be one of those small Ford problems. Ive heard of this happining to many, many people.

 

i have a similar problem w/ 88 150 but the cable or whatever connects the handle to the latch isnt broken. the handle just wont move sometimes and is stuck, almost like there is something binding up inside.
iwas wodering if anybody else has had this same problem.

 

Im a rough person, I can't count how many of these weak plastic door handles I've broke off. When I can't get out I get stupid angry!
