Question 351ci reman. or rebuilt short block supplier?

Ok, any body have had a very good to great expereince buying a late model (1994 E-150 van) 351 ci short block in the Orange County area?

Yes, I could rebuild it myself as I race stock cars and this year I'm to try road racing with my 1976 Mercury Capri 2 with www.touringcarclub.com but I have too many customer project$ here that I have to work on.

I might even get a shop to do it completely or I might pull the engine myself but...? I want a short block as a race sponser that does all my race engine heads is willing to do the heads as I have that company's owner brother's car here for fabbing to do on it! An Austin Healy with a Chev V8 stuffed into it....
