how to remove rotors

You may want to reference this thread for some tips; https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=308771 The guy here had a frozen nut wedge (which is the only one I've ever heard of) but there are some good tips on that thread.

There is a decent description in the Haynes guide. During the installation you need to follow the torque procedure for the bearings.
It's relatively simple to get the rotors off if you use the guide, basically:
-remove wheel
-pull off cover to expose the bearing assembly
-pound out the caliper slides, sling caliper up and tie out of the way
-pull off spacer
-remove the tiny key which locks the bearing nut (you need a pencil magnet or a dental pick to pull this little guy out)
-remove the bearing nut
-pull off the bearings and rotor
While your in there you should think about inspecting and/or replacing the bearings. You will need a bearing seal for the inside bearing replacement on the rotor at the very least.
Haynes will help (photos etc).
