Door Open light

I can't get the door open light on the dash to go off after I open the rear hatch. I did a search and came up with nothing useful. Flame suit is on incase I missed it though.

Thanks
Chris

I'm sure I'm confused with the question but shouldn't the "door open" light be on if the rear hatch is open? Are you saying that it won't go off after you close the hatch?

If you have access to a NGS tester, you can read out which switch is bad. Otherwise you can use the process of elimination. I replaced my rear hatch switches, and then found that the driveer's door had failed a second time. These switches are mounted on the latch mechanism, and I have found they fail often.

Sorry, the darn thing won't go off. dome lights stay on for 10 minutes and the little light on the dash stays on. its only is off in the mornings after it sits all night.

Do a search here for "door ajar" and you'll find a ton of posts on this problem.

This happened in Jan--I just looked to see where it was again but couldnt remember--ill try tomm again. If all else fails--call the dealer--he may know off hand.

WD40 the rear latches liberally. That seems to help.
