I got my 4-position DP-Tuner chip from ITPDiesel (stock, 40, 80, 120) and I'm very happy. . Great shipping from ITP and in a very fast manner (Ordered on a Sunday, arrived Tuesday), they even included the instructions off their website. Highly recommend them. First impressions on the chip, when I got out of the parking lot at my shop was, wow this thing revs a lot faster. RPMs shoot up towards redline WAY quicker than my Diablo Predator (This is at the 80 HP setting) and the speedo moves quick too. Seat in pants feel is EXCELLENT. I always ran my Predator at the 85HP setting and the 80HP DP-Tuner setting feels much stronger.

What I like most about the DP-Tuner is the transmission shifting. I cannot emphasize enough how great the transmission shifting is on this chip. On light throttle, it's basically like a 5-spd with how the t/c locks up. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd/TC lockup and then 4th. TC locks up around 32-35MPH in third depending on throttle. At or near WOT from a dead stop it locks 2nd and up and from a roll it doesn't lock until it hits fourth but it gets to fourth real quick anyway. Unlocking, it doesn't unlock until 35 MPH or so, a homemade compression brake system would work great with this chip. I haven't ran too much on the 120HP setting because I just installed the chip but I am super satisfied with the 80HP setting.

My girlfriend says, I love this chip so much I can go ahead and eat it...like a potatoe chip lol.

congrats on the chip. new mods are always fun.

i assume you have gauges to go with this chip, right?

if the chip is the food, the gauges are the bag that holds the chips. stupid analogy i know, but it is in the best interest of your engine and your wallet (or even bank account) to have at least a transmission temp gauge and exhaust temp gauge. boost is just fun to look at, but can help in diagnosing problems.

by the way, did you get firm shifting ordered on the burn, or did you just get the normal burn.. also, do you have any valve body modifications such as the sonnax/springs or an aftermarket valve body?

strokin...gauges? Yes sir, Autometers same color interior as yours but with Phantom gauges Haven't done anything to the tranny, it shifts great right now don't wanna touch anything lol. I just got the standard tranny burn on the chip, no customer burns or anything. The Predator's shifting points compared to this DP-Tuner chip SUCKS major mangina.
