Anyone in here know the CFM rate that a 351 will flow in a 92 f-150 speed density system?

I was hoping somebody would jump in here with an answer for you on this. With EFI engines it seems you never hear about CFM ratings anymore, it's always about port volume and throttle body size, etc. Maybe we just don't have anyone here who knows...
(How's that for a challenge?!)

Based on a 90% VE, it will move 558 CFM's at 5500 RPM's

So are you guys saying that 500cfm is a conservative estimate? That maybe one would use to judge the system?

Yes, thats about how much air the engine will move at redline. But the stock throtle body will flow over 1000 cfm's

Where have you found that information? Curious...

The stock dual blade throttle bodies are not very good. A single 65mm TB will outflow a dual 45mm TB, surprisingly.

I remember Stacey David from Trucks! do a 600 something cubic inch hemi pushing 850hp that had a 4 bbl throttle body flowing 1200-1300 CFM. I don't see the stock TB living up to that...fill me in please
