Accessory power

Where is the best and easiest way to tap off Accessory power?
I'm installing a unit that needs power only when the caar is running or the key is in accessory . Thank you, the search is driving me crazy.

Also, if you suggest something that isn't easy, a short description of how to do the task would be nice

I use little fuse taps from RadioShack.

Just pull the desired fuse, identify the fused side, slip the tap onto the fuse leg, and reinsert it. You then connect to the tap using a 1/4" crimp-on terminal.

Only downside is that they tend to stretch out the terminal intowhich they are inserted so, if removed, you can end up with a loose fuse connection.
