rear parklights won't come on

I have a 97 supercab...am fairly new to this style..
I have signal lights, brake lights and rear backup lights but no park lights .....where would would I begin my quest as to start for trying to find my rear parklights.
The rear signal lightbulb was burnt out for the trun signal and I am just heading down to get some new bulbs...would this affect the park lamp situation, could it be in the light switch?
The fuses are all good, all lights up front work perfectly......I am not very saavy at wiring and thought I would look for some input here...thanks in advance

Bob

normally when the tail lights dont work it is a fuse. since the turn and brake lights work, that should eliminate a poor ground wire.

1 bloody wire....I rewired the all the rear harness and trailer setup....fixed a couple of broken connections and plug-ins...turns out that the park lamp on the passenger side was rewired with a bit of a mess,4 hours later and I finally nailed to one wire that was not connected at all....LOL....god I hate wiring, but she's done now....
Now I have to pull the sterring wheel off and have a look at the signal switch mechanism, seems that if you don't hold it in a certain position, the signal lights will act up,flash really fast, .....all minor fixes....am learning by hands experience on I guess you could say....LOL

Sounds like you need a new multi-function switch
